By utilizing renewable plant-based resources, these sorbents actively address the depletion of non-renewable materials, supporting a circular economy and advancing sustainable practices. Their inherent biodegradability ensures they do not accumulate in the environment, optimizing operational efficiency in alignment with principles of environmental sustainability.
The AKASoak™ biodegradable sorbent socks are engineered to effectively absorb both aqueous and hydrocarbon-based fluids, including diesel fuel, transmission fluid, hydraulic fluid, coolants, grease, paint, and a variety of other liquids. Each sock features a robust hydrophilic sleeve that retains the absorbent fibers while allowing efficient passage of both water and oil-based fluids through the casing.
Manufactured in the USA, these absorbent products provide a practical solution for a diverse range of industrial applications.
Caution: These sorbent materials are not intended for use with aggressive acids or caustics. Dispose of all sorbent materials in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
