Constructed from recycled paper and industrial cellulosic waste, AKASoak™ sorbent socks exhibit superior moldability, enabling them to conform seamlessly to machinery bases and spill perimeters. This design effectively mitigates leaks, drips, or spills from equipment, thereby reducing associated safety hazards.

The biodegradable characteristics of these plant-based sorbents facilitate natural degradation through microbial metabolism after use, allowing for the return of vital nutrients to the soil while minimizing ecological impact. This biodegradation process decreases landfill contributions and enhances soil health, thus promoting ecosystem stability.

  • All About The Bio-Based Sorbent Socks
  • Additional Information
  • By utilizing renewable plant-based resources, these sorbents actively address the depletion of non-renewable materials, supporting a circular economy and advancing sustainable practices. Their inherent biodegradability ensures they do not accumulate in the environment, optimizing operational efficiency in alignment with principles of environmental sustainability.

The AKASoak™ biodegradable sorbent socks are engineered to effectively absorb both aqueous and hydrocarbon-based fluids, including diesel fuel, transmission fluid, hydraulic fluid, coolants, grease, paint, and a variety of other liquids. Each sock features a robust hydrophilic sleeve that retains the absorbent fibers while allowing efficient passage of both water and oil-based fluids through the casing.

Manufactured in the USA, these absorbent products provide a practical solution for a diverse range of industrial applications.

Caution: These sorbent materials are not intended for use with aggressive acids or caustics. Dispose of all sorbent materials in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
